Hearthwardens is a family-friendly, real-life-first, roleplaying-preferred fellowship for adventurers who want Norrath to feel a little warmer when they pass through it.
Come and gather around the fire, spin a tale of adventure, welcome a weary traveler, share our mead and bread, and then carry that same light back onto the road: helpful groups, noble conduct, a love of adventure, and a reputation for serving people inside and outside the guild.
The Five Vows
Keep the Lantern Clean
Family-friendly means PG-13 or less: mature enough for adults, safe enough for a living room.
Serve the Road
Buffs, a spare bit of gear, newbie questions, tradeskills, directions, and kindness count as guild achievements.
No Sweatlording Required
Competence is welcome. Elitism is not. We learn together without turning fun into a quarterly review.
Honor the Story
Roleplay is preferred in open, public channels. Speak as though Norrath is alive, and keep out-of-character chatter respectful and limited.

The Hearthwardens Have Formed
The Hearthwardens officially formed today and we are adding to our numbers! Welcome, Ghutz, Istaumin, Esira, Lyzanthir, Nomie, and Woden! All have sworn the Five Vows and are already making Norrath a better world!

The public face of the guild should feel like the open door in the banner: warm light, safe table, good road ahead.
Public Reputation MattersRepresent the guild well in groups, auctions, Discord, and server chat.
PG-13 or LessNo constant profanity, sexual content, harassment, slurs, or behavior that makes the guild unsafe for families.
Assume HumanityPeople have jobs, kids, health issues, and limited time. Be patient. Real life wins.
Help Without Keeping ScoreWe support each other and the wider server because that is who we are, not because a loot table told us to.

Hearthwardens honors the legacy of the Harbingers of Light guild which gave rise to it. This is a clean banner for the same old flame: family-friendly fellowship, community service, and adventuring.
